Choir Code

Kor Hen is a queer choir dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful space during rehearsals, concerts, and social activities. To ensure we continue to thrive, we ask members to follow these guidelines:

Attendance & Commitment

• Attend as many rehearsals as possible. Notify us on Spond at least 24 hours in advance if you can’t attend.
• Commit to concerts you sign up for on Spond. If circumstances change, speak with the committee.

Musical Development

• Use sound files to practice your vocal part at home, allowing more rehearsal time for group work.
• Help tidy the rehearsal space at the end of each session.

Inclusivity & Respect

Treat all members with respect and actively oppose racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, ageism, and ableism. Bullying, discrimination, or power dynamics are not tolerated. Report issues to the committee or conductor, anonymously if needed. Communicate respectfully on Spond and other shared spaces.

Privacy & Media

Respect members’ privacy when posting photos or videos on social media.

Supporting the Choir

The committee works hard to support the choir, but occasionally needs extra help. Your assistance is always appreciated!
